Walking means many different things to many different people.
To some, its a form of exercise. To others, a way of appreciating the natural world or a sense of accomplishment, notching off another highlighted stream across an OS map. Or maybe its a way of clearing one’s mind.
To me, it is all these things and more. It has kept me fit, it has piqued my curiosity, it has sated my need to explore and, most importantly, it has gifted me moments of prolonged reflection. It has helped me make sense of the world.
And all by engaging in the not-so-dangerous-business of going outside your front door and putting one foot in front of the other in that familiar rhythm.
I hope you enjoy my blog and would love to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org about anything whatsoever.
